Genso Power Technologies are working to buildup relationships with reputed local institutes, in similar capacities to strengthen industry engagements in different fields.

Genso has successfully undertaken many subcontract as offered by country's leading construction companies like EMP, Neranjan Electricals and GSMB technical Services.

Genso also works with nongovernmental organizations (NGO) operates in Sri Lanka to support their humanitarian missions to be successful. Technical partnership for Northern Province 65,000 housing project and ADRA mediated Solar irrigation project are few of the examples for this category.


Overseas Suppliers

Genso carefully select and continuously evaluate its supplier status to confirm the product quality and reliability before delivering those to the customers.

Trina Solar is the main module supplier to Genso, since the early stages. Trina is the largest solar module supplier to the world, maintained the status from 2013 up to date.

It is a prestige to work with such a large company, and it secure the warranty delivered for 25 years on module performances.

The world leader for inverters, SMA from Germany supplies Genso for the PV installation through PROINSO, the Singapore based distributor for South Asian region.

Meantime the Brand Goodwe has identified Genso as their local Authorized Dealer for 1.5kw to 25kw string inverter range. Goodwe is one of world reputed PV inverter manufacture based at Republic of China, which totally developed on German Technological Backing.

Long developed understanding and communication between mother companies helps Genso to gain better service to our clients, specially in warranty claiming and technical supports.


Investor Relationships

Genso Solar has been established on a solid financial backgrounds and managed by a committed professional core group. The working force of Genso is a young energetic engineering team which manned by qualified graduates and trained technicians.

Over the three year operational period Genso has gained remarkable growth to raised from small technical supply service to a medium scale professional Engineering organization. Genso has successfully executed more than Eight hundred solar projects, to reach the installed capacity of Three Megawatts by the year 2016. The annual turnover has been doubled each operational year, reflecting the steady success of the organization from the establishment. According to the installed capacity, Genso is ranking in first five companies within the industry, with the market share of 15 -20 %. The annual turnover has well surpassed Rs. 180 Million mark, during the financial year 2015/2016.

All this success achieved by working on the initial partnership capital investment and progressive re-investments.

With the objective of to become the industry leader by 2020, Genso has implemented a comprehensive three year overall plan, to increase its market share by 10% annually.

To make this effort feasible, Genso intent to be supported by external funding through a solid understanding to share the growth and benefits of the company. Central Authorities

Genso has established firm relationships with related government authorities to ease the process of company growth and to facilitate service delivery to the clients. Genso works closely together with Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority and two utility suppliers, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Lanka Electricity Company Limited(LECO) to work towards an energy sustained country in 2025, as a common objective.


Financial Sector

Solar financing has been identified as one major business support line to facilitate our customers to obtain this valuable solution of solar. Genso has signed MOUs with almost all the leading Banks in the Country to ease the process of earning credit facilities to Genso Customers. Sampath Bank, NDB Bank, HNB Bank and BOC are working closely with Genso in this process.

Cargills Bank and Genso Solar launched special solar package for this requirement, while strengthening long developed corporate partnerships between two parties.
